The West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training is to proceed in respect of Online Web Counseling for admission into the Trade Courses offered any Government / Private Industrial Training Institutes / Industrial Training Centers / Junior Polytechnic Institutes as stated in the subsequent Paragraphs.

WBSCVT ITI Admission Counseling 2019

West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training shall release Detailed Online Counseling and relevant Schedule; First Alerts in this regard shall be published on our Website in concurrence with the WB State Council for Vocational Training Communiqué.

West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training declared  the Results for the WBSCVT CET 2019.  The Controller of Examinations shall release the WBSCVT Common Entrance Test 2019  Rank Cards for the Candidates declared Merit listed in the said WB State Council for Vocational Training CET 2019.

WBSCVT ITI 2019 Choice-filing and Online Counseling

The West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training notified Choice-filling for Counseling Process shall be held on Online Basis likely to commence toward the end of the First Week of July 2019 and ending by the end of the Second Week of July 2019.

The Controller of Examinations, after preparation of the State-wide Merit List, would transmit SMS to the Candidate’s Registered Mobile Number and e-Mail Ids as provided in the Application Form containing the User Ids and the Password for Log in to the West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training (WBSCVT)    Web Portal.

To Do Tasks for the Candidates:

The Candidates, for participation in the Choice-filling for Online Counseling shall have to pay Counseling Fee Rs 200/- / Rs.100/- for Kanyashree Enrollees) in cash to obtain e-cash Coupons available at all respective Help Desks. After Logging in to the Web Portal using above mentioned user Id and Password, the Applicants shall be required to enter the e-Cash Coupon Number for participation in the Choice-filling for Online Counseling.  One Applicant should necessarily mention his / her Choice for the Trades and the Institutes based on availability of Seats in that particular Institute. Auto-upgrading of the Seats Allocation would be made available. Auto-upgradation Norms and Process will be made available on the WB State Council for Vocational Training Website.

WBSCVT ITI Admissions 2019 Seat Allotment

After successful completion of the Online Choice-filling, based on the Rank-position and the Choice of Trades given by the Applicant Online Counseling-process shall be conducted and the Seat will be allocated to the Applicant in those Institutes he / she has given the choice for admission.

The Applicant is advised to check out the Seat allotted to him / her and take a print out of the Seat Confirmation Slip (SCS) from the WBSCVT Website. The WB State Council for Vocational Training shall notify the Cut-off Date for Choice-filling. Thereafter, WB State Council for Vocational Training would make Seat Allocation through Online Counseling Process; Intimation in this respect shall be published on the Web Portal after the Cut-off Date. After the 1^st Phase of Counseling subsequent Phases of Counseling will be held as per availability of the Seats.

Admission process:

On getting Trade Confirmation Slips, the Applicant should report to respective Government Industrial Training Institutes / Private Industrial Training Institutes / Industrial Training Centers / Junior Polytechnic Institutes for Provisional Admission within a stipulated time i.e., within 03 Working Days after publication of the Counseling Result).

In case the Candidate did not take admission within the scheduled period, then the Allotted Seat to him / her would automatically be cancelled and the Online Counseling Fee paid by them shall be automatically forfeited.

The Candidates’ Admission once granted in any Trade of any Government Industrial Training Institutes / Private Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers / Junior Polytechnic Institutes would not be changed / modified / cancelled.

WBSCVT ITI Counseling Documents for Submission 2019

The West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training Common Entrance Test 2019 Merit listed Candidates shall be required to submit the following Documents while attending the Online Counseling for Seat Allotment.

• All the Original Certificates and Testimonials for Entry Qualification along-with a Set of the Self-Attested Photocopies
• The Admit Card of the Common Entrance Examination
• Photocopy of the Merit Rank and Seat Confirmation Slip need to be produced at the time of Admission. All necessary Fees should be paid mandatorily at the time of Admission.

The Department of Technical Education & Training operates through following 03 Directorates and 03 State Councils to facilitate technical education and skill training in the State.
