Kumaun University may declare well-nigh on mid-December 2018 the Result for Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2018 held in 27 Subjects. Kumaun University, post-Announcement of U’khand SET 2018 Result, will publish the same on the Website displayed in the Latter Part of the Information Bulletin.

Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2018:
| Step I |
It is mandatory for the Candidates desiring to appearing in the State Eligibility Test to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be considered Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor as herein above. |
| Step II |
Amongst those Candidates who have cleared Step I, Merit List would be drawn up (Subject-wise and Category-wise) by using the Aggregate Marks secured by the Candidates in the aforecited 03 (Three) Papers. |
| Step III |
Top 15% Candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under Step II shall be declared State Eligibility Test (SET) for Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility for Assistant Professor only. |
| Step IV |
Kumaun would draw up a Separate Merit List for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship to the candidates from amongst the NET Qualified Candidates figuring in the Merit List under Step III. |

Furthermore, Gujarat State Eligibility Test makes the aforestated Qualifying Criteria FINAL & BINDING on the Candidates. |
Uttarakhand USET Expected Cut Off Marks 2018
Top 6% of the Uttarakhand SET Participating Candidates, who appear in all Three Papers and secure Minimum 40% of the Aggregate Marks for Un-Reserved / General Candidates in Paper I & Paper II and 50% Marks in Paper III, in case of Other Backward Classes and Socio-Economically Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) at least 35% of the Aggregate Marks in Paper I & Paper II and 45% Marks in Paper III as well as Other Backward Classes (NCL) and for Reserved Category Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Categories, 35% of the Aggregate Marks in Paper I & Paper II and 40% Marks in Paper III will be declared Qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor by following the Reservation Policy of the Government of Gujarat State.
