UPSC IAS Mains Exam Syllabus 2018 Civil Services Pattern ~ Question Papers Exam Dates:-
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will going to conduct the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination 2018 and the Indian Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2018 as per the Scheme of the Main Examination cited in the Tabular Format.
UPSC IAS Mains Exam Syllabus 2018
Those candidates who are interested and eligible they can fill the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IFS (Main) Examination, 2018, scheduled to commence as soon as possible and shall be held be for Ten (10) days. The Commission shall hold the Civil Services (Main) Examination, scheduled to commence soon and would be organized for Five (05) Days.

Selection Criteria:
All candidates who declared qualified by the Union Public Service Commission for taking the Civil Services (Main) Examination will have to produce the proof of passing the requisite Examination with their respective Application for the IFS / Civil Service (Main) Examination 2018 failing which such candidates will not be admitted to the Main Examination. The Applications for the Main Examination will be called on the Examination Dates in the month of October / November, 2018.
The Candidates having secured the Minimum Qualifying Marks in the written part of the Main Examination, as might be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, shall be summoned by them for an interview for a Personality Test / Viva-voce, vide Sub-Section ‘C’ of Section II. The number of the candidates to be called for interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled (Posts which includes 29 vacancies reserved for P.H. Category, i.e., 13 vacancies for LDCP, 05 Vacancies for B/LV and 11 Vacancies for H.I). The Final number of vacancies, if so, might undergo change after getting firm number of vacancies from Cadre Controlling Authorities. The interview will carry 275 marks (with no Minimum Qualifying Marks). Final Selection of the Candidates shall be strictly in order of Merit that shall be prepared on the basis of Sufficient High Marks secured by the candidates both in the Written Part of the Main Examination and Personality Test.
