UPSC CAPF AC Result 2017, Assistant Commandant Result News:

Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination, 2017 Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall declare the Result for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2017 consisting of 02 (Two) Papers for 450 (250 + 200) Marks conducted across the country on the 23rd of July 2017 within 30 Days of the All India Competitive Examination held.

The UPSC, at their discretion, shall determine the Minimum Qualifying Marks separately in each Paper and in Aggregate to be secured by the Candidates. Paper-I will be evaluated First and Evaluation of Paper-II only for those Candidates shall be done, who may have obtained the Minimum Qualifying Marks in Paper – I and Minimum Aggregate in Aggregate. 

The Union Public Service Commission shall publish only on the Official Website the Result for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2017:

Final Selection / Merit

The UPSC shall prepare the Final Select List in order of Merit  on the bases of the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the OMR Based Test Question Booklet Written Examination and Personal Interview / Personality Test.

Personal Interview / Personality Test: 

The Candidates, who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Personal Interview (PI) / Personality Test (PT) to be conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

The Candidates who are declared Medically Unfit but allowed to appear before the “Review Medical Board” (RMB) on their individual Appeal by the Appellate Authority will be called for Personal Interview / Personality Tests provisionally.

Personal Interview / Personality Test will carry 150 Marks. The Candidates who are shortlisted for Interview / Personality Test, including those provisionally Shortlisted for Interview / Personality Test will be issued a Detailed Application Form (DAF) in which among other things, they would have to indicate their respective Preference for Forces for Joining subsequent to Release of the Result and Final Select List Organization-wise.

Final Selection / Merit:

The Merit List shall be drawn up on the basis of the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the OMR Based Test Question Booklet Written Examination and Personal Interview / Personality Test.

These Tests remain of QUALIFYING NATURE only. The Candidates Declared Qualified in the Physical Standard Tests / Physical Efficiency Test / Medical Standards Tests shall be called for the Personality Test / Personal Interview.

Final Selection / Merit:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) shall draw up Final Select List in order of the Merit List category-wise based on the Marks secured by the Candidates in the Written Examination and Personal Interview / Personality Test.
