- announce in April 2018 the Results for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018
- declare in April / May 2018 the Merit List followed by issuance of the Marks Statements and UP Teacher Eligibility Test Certficates.
Educational Qualifications – Brief:

Classes I-V (Primary Level):
The Candidates should have in possession Degree awarded by any University recognized by the University Grants Commission with 02-Years B.T.C (Final Year & Passed out candidates) Or National Council for Teacher Education Or 02-Years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) from the Indian Rehabilitation Center (RCI) / Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination / Higher Secondary Certificate Examination / Intermediate with Minimum 50% Marks Or Equivalent thereof with 04-Years’ Degree (Final Year & Passed out candidates) in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
Classes VI-VIII (Upper Primary Level):
The Candidates should have in possession Degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission Or 02-Years B.T.C. (Final Year & Passed out Candidates) from the National Council for Teacher Education / Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination / Higher Secondary Certificate Examination / Intermediate with Minimum 50% Marks Or Equivalent thereof & 04-Years’ Degree (Final Year & Passed out Candidates) in Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

UP Teacher Eligiblity Test (TET) Application Form 2018
Even though the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has determined Minimum Qualifying Marks @ 60% for the candidates belonging to General Category and 55% Marks for the Candidates belonging to the Reserved Categories; however, the candidates with Higher up Marks in the UPTET 2017 shall be placed on Merit. Such candidates shall be eligible to teach in all the Districts of Uttar Pradesh cited hereunder:
