The Osmania University is all set to release the notification for inviting TS SET Applications for Telangana State -State Eligibility Test (TS-SET). TS-SET is an entrance exam which is undertaken by Osmania University every year for recruitment of eligible candidates for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professors in the Colleges or Universities affiliated by University Grants Commission Regulations.
TS SET 2018 Application Form
The date of entrance exam has not been specified by the University yet. However, it is expected that the Osmania University will release the application forms in the month of February 2018. The candidates whose applications will be duly accepted by the University will be issued the admit cards for TS SET Entrance Test 15 days before the date of Entrance test. Candidates can check their eligibility from the given set of conditions which are being laid by Osmania University.
TS SET 2018 Eligibility Conditions
The required eligibility conditions for Telangana State Lecturer/Assistant Professor Exam are given below:
- Candidates who have completed their Post Graduate Degree in related discipline are eligible to apply. Also, the candidates in the final year of PG can also apply.
- Candidates should have scored equal to or more than 55% marks in their Post-graduation.
- As far as age limit is concerned, there are no limitations on the age of candidate

How to Apply?
- The candidates who wish to apply for TSSET Entrance test can fill the online application form
- Application forms can be filled on the official website of Telanganaset.
- Candidates would need to provide some documents such as scanned photograph, signature, identity proof etc.
- After providing all the necessary details, candidates have to pay the online application fee through the payment gateway and the online application form will be successfully submitted.

TS SET 2018 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The TS SET Entrance test will be an objective type paper and will be held in 2 sessions. Session I will include 2 papers and Session II will include 1 paper. There will be no negative marking in the paper. Detailed info about the TS SET Exam pattern is being displayed in the following table:

- Paper 1 will be a General Paper on Teaching & Research Aptitude
- Paper 2 will be a Subject based paper opted by candidate
- Paper 3 will also be a Subject based papers with some detailed questions
TS State Eligibility Test Admit Card Download
All the candidates whose applications will be accepted by TS will be issued their admit card through the official website of TELANGANASET 15 days before the TS SET Examination. Date, Time and venue of the TS SET Exam conducted by Osmania University will be mentioned on Admit cards.
TS SET 2018 Selection Procedure
All the eligible candidates will first have to appear for TS SET Entrance Exam which will be conducted by Osmania University. The candidates scoring the minimum qualifying marks in the TS SET Test will be shortlisted for Merit list. Top 15% candidates from the Merit list will be declared qualified for the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professors under Telangana State-State Eligibility Test.
