The Education Department, Government of Telangana State, Online Registration in response to the Government of Telangana State, Department of Education Brief Press Notice shall commence at the soonest possible promptly through the website of the TS TET. Those applicants who intend to be teachers in Class I to Class VIII in schools in Telangana State for appearance in the first Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET 2018) to be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State very soon.
TS TET TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST NOTIFICATION 2018
The Education Department, Government of Telangana State, candidates likely to appear in the upcoming Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2018 may be able to download from the April 2018 (Tentative) the Date of the TS Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 from the official website of TS TET. The Candidates aiming to appear in the TS Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 would be able to commence downloading the Information Bulletin / Information Brochure from the official website very shortly with Nil Charges / Free of Charge.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
All candidates who possess D.Ed.,/ B.Ed., / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in the information bulletin of TS-TET and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Telangana State can appear for TS-TET. However, the candidates intending to seek employment as a teacher in private unaided schools shall have the 2 option of appearing at CTET conducted by Central Government through CBSE instead of TS-TET, if they so desire. The candidates who did not qualify in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and 4th APTETs can also apply for the first TS-TET. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply for first TS-TET if they desire improvement over their previous TET score.
APPLICATION FEE
The fee prescribed for appearing for TS-TET (including examination fee) is Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) for only Paper-I or only Paper-II or both. Candidates can pay the fee through TS online or Payment Gateway centers

EXAM HALL TICKET
The candidates can download the exam hall ticket the TET TS 2018 at the quickest possible through the website of the department. The candidates can download the exam hall ticket through the website of the department within 15 days from the TS TET 2018.
ANSWER KEY
All the candidates can get the exam answer key set wise (Set A, Set B, Set C, Set D) along with question papers within 10 days from the examination. If candidates wants to make any objection in that then they will upload the final answer key at the swiftly from the official website of the department.
RESULTS AND MERIT LIST
The department will upload the exam results statement along with expected cut off marks very shortly after the completion of TET 2018. They will reveal the TET 2018 results within 60 days from the examination at the website of the official.

WEIGHT AGE FOR TS-TET SCORES IN SELECTION IN DISTRICT SELECTION COMMITTEE (DSC) RECRUITMENTS
20% weightage will be given to TS-TET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government i.e., 20% weightage is for TS-TET score and 80% weight-age for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
TS-TET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.
