Probationary Officer Question Paper analysis

The written test for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO) was conducted on 25th Day of February 2018 by IBPS. The written test was divided into 2 parts with Part A comprising of Objective questions and Part B comprising of Descriptive questions. It is important to know that the Part B Descriptive Test is only qualifying nature. The detailed information regarding the sections of PO question paper is being highlighted in the following table:

Syndicate Bank PO Expected cutoff Marks 2018

The recruitment department of Syndicate Bank will release the Section wise/paper wise PO expected cutoff marks very soon. Till now the official dates for the declaration of minimum qualifying/expected cut off marks are not provided, but it is expected to be released soon.

However, the minimum qualifying marks for Part-B Descriptive exam has been declared by the Bank. As per the official notification, the candidates belonging to General Category have to score 50% marks while the candidates belonging to SC-ST-OBC-PwD have to score 45% marks in order to qualify the PO descriptive exam.

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates for admissions into PG Diploma in Banking & Finance Course will be done on the basis of written test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion. The written exam has already being conducted by the Bank on 25 Feb 2018. All the candidates who will qualify the written test will be intimated regarding the PI & GD round through the official website of syndicatebank.in.

The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of final merit list formed on the basis of performance of candidates in Online Test and PI/GD.
