In view of the SSC Junior Engineer Exam (paper-1) 2017 being conducted, the Staff Selection Commission is all set to release SSC JE (Paper-I) result as well as section wise expected cutoff marks for the candidates who appeared for the examinations. The Commission conducted the Jr. Engineer Prelims Exam from 22nd Jan to 29th Jan 2018 and will very soon release the JE tier-1 (Civil, mechanical and Electrical) expected cutoff marks through its official website.

SSC JE Tier-1 Result: As per the Press release, the SSC Jr. Engineer tier-1 exam was conducted in online mode in morning & evening shifts for the recruitment of candidates for various posts of civil, mech. & electrical engineer. SSC JE Paper-1 Expected Cut off Marks 2018

Generally the Staff Selection Commission announces the Junior Engineer tier-1 (Civil/mech./electrical) expected cutoff marks within 15 days of the date of commencement of written examination. The date of release of JE exam morning/evening shift cutoff marks has not been determined till now, but it will soon be released by the official Commission.

The Staff Selection Commission will publish the JE tier-1 shift wise/section wise expected cutoff marks through the official web portal of ssc.nic.in very soon.  Only the candidates scoring more than the minimum qualification marks/expected cutoff marks in SSC JE Prelims Result will be eligible to appear for Mains Examination.

With a view to conduct SSC Mains Examination of the candidates qualifying SSC JE Paper-1, the Staff Selection Commission will soon be releasing SSC Jr. Engineer (tier-1) Result through its official website very shortly. The Commission generally releases the result within one month from the date of commencement of examination.

How to Download the Junior Engineer Preliminary Result 2018?

  • Visit the web portal of ssc.nic.in.
  • Under the ‘Latest News’ section, search for ‘SSC JE tier-1 Final Result’.
  • Click on the link and fill all the required credentials.
  • By performing the above steps, individual results of the candidates will appear.

SSC JE (Mech. /Civil/Elec.) 2018 Mode of Selection

All the candidates who have appeared and scored more than qualifying marks in SSC JE tier-1 exam will be eligible to appear in SSC JE tier-2 exam. After the release of Jr. Engineer paper-1 result, the qualifying candidates will be intimated the dates and timings for appearing in SSC JE tier-2 Exam/Mains Exam.

The selection of candidates for various posts of Junior Engineer (elec./mech./civil) will be done on the basis of Final Merit list. The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks in Paper-I and Paper-II and the selection of candidate will be done on the basis of ranks in Merit list.
