The department of Human Resource Development Department Sikkim, will be issue press advertisement in respect of Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2018 at the quickest possible through the official website of the department. In-person submission / Dispatch of the duly completed Application Forms accompanied by the Bank Draft for Rs. 225/- (Rupees Two Hundred & Twenty Five only) on account of the Examination Fee may be deposited in favor of Joint Director / Examination, Human Resource Development Department at any Branch of the Industrial Development Bank of India Limited (IDBI) / IDBI Bank in the State. They will not yet release the official advertisement in respect of STET 2018.
Sikkim STET 2018 Notification
The Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2018 Application Form for downloading shall remain available on the Human Resource Development Department (HRDD) Website, which the candidates may submit on or before the last date of form submission from the official website. For more details regarding the eligibility exam syllabus, admit card etc are mentioned below.

Sikkim Human Resource Development Department shall conduct the Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 very shortly. Right now they will not yet decide the STET 2018 examination.

**A person intending to appear in both the Categories (PRT and TGT) shall have to sit in both the papers separately.
Issuance of the e-Admit Cards / Hall Tickets:
Sikkim Human Resource Development Department shall issue STET 2018 both for Primary Teachers (Level-I) and Trained Graduate Teacher (Level-II) admit card very shortly through the website of the official portal. All the candidates can download the STET 2018 E Admit card before the 7 days from the examination through the official portal.
The Multiple Choice Questions of Objective-Type shall be based on the Syllabus for Classes I to V, but their Difficulty Level, as well as Linkage, will be up to the Secondary Stage.
Structure and Content of State Teacher Eligibility Test 2018:
The Syllabus for the STET 2018 shall be based on Classes I – V. The Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) shall comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions. There will be No Negative Marking for the Wrong Answer to the Multiple Choice Questions. There would be 150 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in the State Teacher Eligibility Test. All Multiple Choice Questions are compulsory. Duration of Examination will be of 2½ Hours (Two Hours & Thirty Minutes).
Paper I (for Primary Teacher for Classes I to V):

Sikkim STET Syllabus: 2018
The Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in the Test for Paper II would be based on the Topics of the prescribed Syllabus of the State for Classes VI to VIII, but their Difficulty Level as well as Linkage could be up to the Senior Secondary Stage. The Question Paper shall be in English Language and the questions in the Vernacular will be in that Vernacular.
Paper II (for Trained Graduate Teacher for classes VI to VIII):
The Syllabus for the STET 2018 shall be based on Classes VI – VIII. The Sikkim State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) shall comprise Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions.
