Taking a leaf out of the Director Research, Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU), Banswara (Rajasthan) in respect of the Admission into Philosophiae Doctor Program for the Academic Year 2019 – 2020 Online Registration for which concludes on the 15th of December 2017 (15.12.2017), we would like to succinctly further cite as in the subsequent Lines.

That the Candidates would be able to Download their respective electronic Admit Cards (for the Research Eligibility Test 2018) commencing on the 1st of January 2018 (01.01.2018) onward.
The Office of the Director (Research) shall mention in the e-Admission Letters the Instructions for Compliance by the Candidates appearing in the Research Eligibility Test 2018.
GGTU RET 2018 Syllabus
The Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in Paper – I and Paper – II shall be based on the Syllabus of National Eligibility Test (NET) or University Grants Commission / Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (UGC / CSIR) in a particular Subject selected by the Applicant.
GGTU Research Eligibility Test 2018: Application Form
The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) shall host on the 7th of January 2018 (07.01.2018) a Research Eligibility Test 2018 for the Candidates for Admission into Philosophiae Doctor for the Academic Session 2019 – 2020. The Research Eligibility Test consisting of 02 Papers comprising 50 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in each Paper and Totaling 100 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type in an Optical Mark-up Reader Based Answer Sheet.

There shall be a Research Eligibility Test / Entrance Test; viz., Research Eligibility Test (RET) consisting of 02 (Two) Papers for 100 Marks each both Aggregating 200 Marks.
The Examination Duration of each Paper shall be 01 (One) Hour. Paper – I shall be based on the General Nature on Teaching and Research Aptitude and Paper – II shall be based on the Subject Opted for / Selected by the Applicant.
Any Applicant, who does not Appear in Paper I shall not be allowed to Take / Attempt Paper-II. Paper – I and Paper II shall comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type. Each Question in the TQQB shall carry 02 Marks. There will be no Negative Marking.
Criteria for Declaration of Result: 2018
The Candidates, who have obtained following Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks separately in Paper – I, Paper-II and Aggregate Marks in both the Papers as given hereunder shall be declared Pass:
Weight age in Percentage:
- A Bona fide Resident of the Area of the Jurisdiction of this University, Districts Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh will be given Weight age of 10% in the Admission into Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Research Programme only after having qualified in the Research Eligibility Test.
- Weight age of the Percentage of the Academic Record, such as, Senior Secondary, Graduation, Post Graduate, National Eligibility Test (NET), State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) State Eligibility Test (SET), Junior Research Fellowships University Grants Commission / Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (UGC / CISR) & Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Degree-holder shall be as here under:

One Additional Seat in each Department will be created especially for Scheduled Tribe Candidates (Bona fide Resident of Districts Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh) who have qualified the Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) Admission Test but could not be allotted Research Supervisor in Personal Interview.
- The Candidate shall be required to fill up an Application Form for Allotment of Research Supervisor to be obtained from the Research Section (Appendix III) indicating there with the order of Preference of his / her Research Interests; viz., Proposed Research Area and Prospective Research Supervisors.
Procedure of allocation/allotment of Research Supervisor:
Allotment / Allocation of the Research Supervisor for the Eligible Candidates shall be done by the Research Supervisor Allocation Committee (RSAC) depending on the number of Seats Available per Research Supervisor in the Subject keeping in view the Research Interest / Area, Specialization among the Supervisors, the Research Interest of the Student as indicated in the Application Form. Only Pre-Stipulated Number of the Candidates may be considered for Allotment in each Subject.
The Candidate will be solely Responsible for any wrong Information. The Original Testimonials (Certificates / Documents) would be verified at the time of Interview.
