The Department of Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) is likely to issue the notification for Admission to B.Ed SEDE (Bachelor of Education, Special Education -Distance Education) programme for the session 2019-20. Netaji Subhas Open University invites application for admission to B.Ed through SEDE Entrance Test. The NSOU B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test 2019 will be conducted in the month of August, 2019. The Application Form will be available soon on the official portal. The NSOU B.Ed Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit.
NSOU B.Ed SEDE Admission Form 2019
Netaji Subhas Open University is going to conduct the B.Ed SEDE Entrance Exam in the month of August, 2019 at various centers. All those candidates who are capable and interested to take admission in B.Ed Two Year Programme, can apply for B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test 2019. The Candidates can read all the detailed information and they can apply for NSOU B.Ed SEDE Admission Form 2019 before the last date. Details regarding entrance fee, admission rules, eligibility criteria are available in the information Brochure on the University website.
NSOU B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test 2019: Common Entrance Test will be held at the designated Venues. The Test will be held for the two zones viz. South Bengal and North Bengal. Test for the South Bengal zone will be held at Kolkata and North Bengal zone at Siliguri. Applicants can apply for any zone of their choice. However, the Merit List will be prepared Separately for the two zones considering the zone where from the applicants appeared at the Test. Therefore, Merit list prepared so, cannot be changed or altered anyway.
Eligibilty Criteria for NSOU B.Ed Admission 2019
Graduates ( Three Years ) and/or Masters with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
Entrance Test Fees:
Rs. 500/- (+Bank Charges)
1. Rs. 30,000/- (Course Fee as per RCI recommendation)
2. Rs. 5,000/- (ICT and Student Support)
3. Rs. 5,000/- (Monitoring and Supervision of Programmes)
Two years and six months with Five Semesters.
Specialization in any two School Subjects (SS-1 and SS-2): SS-1 Teaching of English / Bengali; SS-2 Teaching of Science / Mathematics / Social Studies.
Specialization in Disability Area: Mental Retardation (M.R.) / Hearing Impairment (H.I.)/ Visually Impairment (V.I).
Candidates will be selected on the basis of total marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test and weightage as shown below:
Entrance Test Marks (Total marks -100): 90%
Parent of child with disability: 10
Candidate with disability (40% and above): 10
Possesses RCI Registration Certificate: 10
Total (Including Maximum Weightage): 100
The Entrance Test will consist of a paper of 100 marks (200 MCQs with 0.50 marks in each). The duration of Test will be of 3 hours (12 noon to 3.00 PM).

NSOU B.Ed Entrance Test 2019-20 Admit Card / Hall Tickets
Applicants will get the NSOU B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test Admit Card 10 days prior to the examination. Admit Cards may be downloaded in the month of August, 2019 by entering the Application Form Number, Date of Birth. Hard copies of the Admit Card will not be delivered by post/hand. Aspirants are advised to reach on time otherwise board will not allow to writing the exam.
NSOU B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test Results / Merit List
The Department of NSOU shall publish the B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test Result on the official web portal. NSOU B.Ed SEDE Entrance Test Result will be declared within one month from the Entrance Test. Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit.
NSOU B.Ed SEDE Admission Counseling / Seat Allotment
After the declaration of B.Ed SEDE Entrance Result, counseling schedule and merit list will be issued. Candidates, whose name will come under merit list, will be eligible for counseling. Allotment of candidates will be made strictly in order of merit and subject to the availability of Seats in respective Study centres. Central Counselling and Spot Admission at SoE, NSOU will be held in the month of September, 2019 (Expected).
The Counselling will be held CENTRALLY for TWO zones. The subject matter and the pattern/typology of the questions will be as follows:
- PART- A:- G.K. and Teaching Aptitude (Secondary standard) 25 MCQ
- PART- B:- Logical and Analytical Reasoning 25 MCQ
