The Ministry of Home Affairs would like to briefly intimate the Candidates looking forward to hearing on i) Issuance of the Permission Letters / Admit Cards, ii) Detailed Schedule for Skill Tests and subsequently the Final Result of the Skill Test, Final Merit Lists, Select Lists Community-wise among others in respect of the as stated in the subsequent Paragraphs. First Alert and Regular Update on the subject shall continue to be published on our Website for the ready reference of the Candidates from time to time.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has notified the following Procedure for Selection to the Posts: The Eligible Candidates shall be summoned for the Skill Test (Driving Test and Motor Mechanism), the Date, Place and Time of which would be intimated to the Candidates at their individual email ID provided at the time of On Online Registration.
The Candidates would also have an Option to download their Admit Cards if they do not receive the same by email Id.
The Ministry of Home Affairs would shortly mail the e-Admit Cards / Summon Letters via their respective email Ids, however, in case of non-receipt thereof, they would also be permitted to download their respective Permission Letters through Ministry of Home Affairs Website as well.

The Candidates likely to be found Eligible for Recruitment consisting of Driving Test and Motor Mechanism would only be intimated on the same. First Alert on this Subject shall be published on our Website for the ready reference of the Candidates.
The Ministry of Home Affairs shall mail the e-Admit Call via their respective Registered email Ids to the Candidates submitted at the time of Online Registration. The Details comprising Dates for Skill Tests and Verification of the Documents / Certificates / Documents shall be mentioned on their Call Letters / Hall Examination Tickets.
The Skill Tests may not necessarily be conducted at the Center opted for by them and are likely to be organized at a Center by clubbing the Candidates of the Nearby Centers. However, the Candidate would be considered against the Centre opted by him at the time on Online Registration.
Based on individual performance of the Candidates in the Skill Test (Driving and Motor Mechanism), they will be selected subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by Medical Examination.
|Skill Test (Driving Tests and Motor Mechanism): The Candidates would be required to drive a Motor Vehicle as directed by the Instructor. Practical Knowledge of the Candidates about the Vehicle and Removal of Minor Defects / Snags in the Vehicle, its upkeep and maintenance, etc., would be tested.||Driving Test
Procedure for Recruitment:
The Ministry of Home Affairs notified Recruitment to 209 SIB Security Assistants carrying Maximum 100 Marks consists of Maximum Marks: 100 (50 Marks for Driving Test + 50 Marks for Motor Mechanism) for Direct Recruitment to the Posts of Security Assistant (Motor Transport), General Central Service, Group-‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Intelligence Bureau, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India in different States and Union Territories of India.
Recruitment to the Posts shall be strictly in order of Merit prepared based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and Marls. The Candidates with Maximum / Sufficient High Marks both in Driving Test and Motor Mechanism shall be placed on Final Select List.
Based on the Performance of the Candidates in the Skill Test (Driving and Motor Mechanism), they will be selected subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by Medical Examination before Recommendation for Selection as per the Application and Vacancies mentioned here under:
