Directorate (Administration & Human Resource) Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) shall release the e-Admission Certificates to the Candidates with the Prior Intimation via their respective e-mail Id (Registered while Online Registration carried out).

The Directorate of Administration & Human Resource shall upload on the Official Website (displayed in the Later Part of this Information Bulletin) Minimum 07 Days before Commencement of the Computer Based Online Test / Computer Based Test 2019 aimed at Shortlisting the Candidates for Personal Interview involving Verification of the Testimonials (Certificates / Documents) in Original with the Self-Attested Xerox thereof.

It is compulsory for the Candidates to carry a Photo Id, such as, Voter Idy, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card. The Candidates should carry both, the printed copy of E-Admit Card and Photo Id (as mentioned herein above) while coming to appear in the Computer Based Online Test / Examinations.

The Candidate will not be allowed Entry into the Examination Hall / Venues, in case any of these found in their possession.

Calculator, Mobile Phone, Pager, Bluetooth, Headphone, Ear-Plug, Lap-Top, I-Pad and other Electronics / Computing / Communication Devices shall not be permitted inside the Examination Center.

The Computer Based Online Test / Examination shall consist of 02 (Two Papers).

Paper-I (Objective type) Computer Based Test / Online Examination for Duration of 02 Hours comprising 200 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions related to General Hindi and General English

Paper-II (Descriptive Type) Descriptive Type Examination for Duration of 02 Hours related to Translation & Essay in Hindi & English.

Paper-I comprises the Objective Type-Multiple Choice Questions only. Paper – II shall be evaluated in respect of only those Candidates, who Attain the Minimum Qualifying Standard / Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks in Paper – I or Part thereof as may be fixed at the discretion of the Khadi And Village Industries Commission (KVIC). KVIC may, at their discretion, fix the Qualifying Marks in Paper-II.

The Computer Based Online Test consisting of 02 Sections (Part I comprising 40 Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions and Part II having 80 Multiple Choice Questions of Objective Type) with Each Multiple Choice Questions carrying 01 Mark and there is no Penalty for Incorrect / Wrong Answer to each Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. No Mark will be awarded for Un-attempted Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions.

The Test Question Paper Booklet will be Bilingual; i.e., in English Language and Hindi Language. In case of any Typographical Error in Hindi, the English Version of the Multiple Choice Questions shall be considered as Valid.

Selection Criteria:

  • Selection for the Post of Group-B (Gazetted Post) shall consist of Two Stage Selection Processes, i.e., Computer Based Test followed by Personal Interview.
  • Selection for Group – B (Non-Gazetted Post) & Group – C (Non-Gazetted Post) will be made as per Merit on the basis of the Candidates’ individual Performance in the Computer Based Test. The Shortlisted Candidates shall be called for Verification of the Original Testimonials (Certificates / Documents) according to Merit, Availability of the Vacancies and Reservation Rules.
  • During Document Verification, the Candidates will have to furnish / produce their respective Original Certificates together with One Set of Self-Attested Photocopies. No Additional Time shall be given to the Merit-Listed Candidates and the Candidature of such Persons for not furnishing / producing their Original Testimonials (Certificates / Documents) on the Date of Verification is liable to be forfeited.

Appointment of the Successful Candidates will be subject to Verification of all such Original Testimonials (Certificates / Documents) relating to Age, Educational Qualifications, Caste, Experience & Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Medical Authorities as prescribed under the Khadi And Village Industries Commission Rules.

TIE Resolve Methodology: 

In case of TIE of the Marks obtained by more than one Candidate, the TIE shall be Resolved in the following Order:

  1. The Candidate with Earlier / Older Date of Birth, will be placed Higher, i.e., the Candidate in Age Seniority will be placed Higher
  2. In case of TIE, as mentioned at (a) above, the Candidate with Higher Percentage Pass Marks in the Qualifying Examination, as per Eligibility Criteria, shall be placed Higher.
