The University of Mysore (UoM) would declare the Expected Result of the Karnataka State Eligibility Test For Lecturers / Assistant Professors 2018 in the month of February/March 2018 only subsequent to releasing the KSET 2018 – Final Subject-wise Optical Mark Recognition Answer Sheet / Optical Mark Recognition Based Answers Key. Therefore, we have attached the HIGHEST PRIORITY to Mysore University’s upcoming bulletin in this respect.

The University of Mysore (UoM) is to announce in January 2018 the KSET 2018 Result. We would display on our Website Swift Communiqué relevant to the UoM held KSET 2018 for Award on Lectureship or Assistant Professorship. Karnataka (KSET) 2018 Expected Cut Off
The University of Mysore has already determined the Community-wise Minimum Percentage of Marks / Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks in regard to the Karnataka SET 2018 as here under: The State Eligibility Test will consist of 03 (Three) Papers. All Three Papers shall consist of only Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions and will be held shortly in three separate Sessions as here under:

The University of Mysore conducted the Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2018 in different Subjects:

Step I:
The Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained in the State Eligibility Test, December 2018 for considering a candidate for Eligibility for Lecturer ship / Assistant Professorship.
The candidates are required to obtain following Minimum Qualifying Marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as given below:

Step II:
Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step I, a Merit List would be prepared Subject-wise and Category-wise using the Aggregate Marks of all three State Eligibility Test Papers secured by such candidates.
Step III:
Top 15% candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under Step II, will be declared the WBCSC SET 2018 Qualified for Eligibility for the Posts of Lectureship / Assistant Professors.
