JK Executive/Armed Police Application Form 2018 Last Date ~ Syllabus
Jammu and Kashmir Police is likely to publish the official notification with respect to the upcoming post of Executive Police and Armed Police at its official website. It is very great news for the permanent residents of the Jammu and Kashmir who were seeking for the police recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir. Permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir will only be able to take part in the Recruitment process. Candidates will have to fill the application form in OMR/ICR format and send it to address which have been mentioned below.
JK Executive/Armed Police Application Form 2018
Jammu and Kashmir Police will issue the number of vacancies as per district wise and it is mentioned in the official notification that the candidate belong to one district should not apply for the other district. Candidates should apply for post from the district from where he belongs to. Candidates will be able to apply for the post at the soonest possible promptly.
Candidates who want to apply for the aforesaid post should not have their age less 18 years and not more than 28 years as on 1st January, 2018. However, in the case of SPOs/Volunteer Home Guards (VHGs) with a continuous period of engagement of minimum three years and five years respectively, the upper age limit shall be 37 years.
Essential Educational Qualification:
The candidates who want to apply for the above post should have passed the matriculation examination/matric/10th class or equivalent from any Government Recognized Board.

How to apply:
The application form in OMR/ICR format along with envelopes, Sample Dummy Form, Acknowledgement Card and the Instruction Sheet shall be available in the offices of all the district SSsP in J&K/SSP CID Cell New Delhi with effect shortly against payment of fees of Rs 300 in the shape of Demand Draft (DD)/postal order obtained from any of the Branch of J & K Bank/Post Office, payable to Chief Accounts Officer PHQ, payable at Jammu/Srinagar.
The duly filed in application form shall be deposited by the eligible candidates in the offices of respective District Superintendents of Police (SP) where the applicant resides. Candidates presently residing/working outside the State can also deposit their application form in the office of SSP CID Cell (Address: 11, Harish Chander Mathur Lane, Near Max Muller Bhawan, KG Marg New Delhi-110001). The applications should be accompanied with by the attested copies of the following certificates:
- Matriculation Certificate containing date of birth.
- State Subject Certificate (PRC).
- Valid Reserved category certificate, if claimed.
- Two copies of recent passport size photo graph.
- The candidates working as SPOs/Volunteer Home Guards and confirming to the aforesaid eligibility physical/educational standard shall attach certificate relating to engagement of SPO/ Volunteer Home Guards issued by the concerned DDO/SSP none else under his seal/Signatures and date of issue.
The candidates are required to present the original documents to the concerned receipt official in the respective District Police Offices for comparing at the time of depositing of filled in OMR application form and no photocopy of OMR form is required to be deposited in the concerned office of the board.
Selection Process/Examination Pattern:
|Physical Endurance Test (PET)(Qualifying)
Candidates who will qualify in the PET test will only be called for the PST test.
|Long Race= 1600 meters in 06 minutes for males. 1000 meters in 06 minutes for females.
(only male candidates)
Shot Put (4Kgs)= 14 ½ feet in three attempts
(only female candidates)
|Physical Standard Test (PST)||Measurement of Height and Chest
The candidates are also required to carry their original documents for scrutiny during the PST.
|Written Examination||The Question Paper will be carry 100 marks multiple choice and duration to finish the test is 2 hours and test will be based on OMR sheets. The questions will be of the 10th standard.|
