Taking cognizance of the Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) Notice on setting the Deadline (03.12.2017) for submission Objection to the Test Question Paper Booklet Answers Key, we are of the opinion that the Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) shall Announce before mid-January 2018 the Result for the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Examination held on the 26th of November 2017 (26.11.2017).

The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board will Declare the Result based on the Candidates’ Individual Performance and the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained already Declared / fixed in the Notification.
The Candidates Unsuccessful in Scoring / Obtaining the Minimum Qualifying Marks shall not be considered for Provisional Selection for Driving Skill Test (DST). The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board, subsequent to Announcement of the Result for Recruitment to 128 Vacancies (LVD – A 50 Vacancies, HVD-A 76 Vacancies, SCD – A – 02 Vacancies), will publish on the Official Web Link Displayed in the Later Part of this Information Bulletin.
ICRB ISRO Driver Examination 2017 Call Letters
The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board may issue e-Call Letters with Prior Communication through Candidates’ e-Mail Ids and Website intimating the Candidates both i) Venue, Driving Skill Test, Driving Test Reporting Time and ii) the Check-List / Documents required for Verification and Submission. Therefore, we would like to Advise the Candidates to carry with them the Documents and ensure Preparations accordingly.
The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board shall Shortlist Only Candidates for the Driving Skill Test / Skill Test (Driving Test) that would have scored Minimum Qualifying Marks / higher than the Minimum Qualifying Marks already Declared in the subsequent Paragraphs.
ISRO Driver Post Exam Syllabus | Exam Scheme 2017
The Optical Markup Reader Based Written Test consisting of Four Parts comprised 100 Objective Type of Multiple Choice Questions; viz. Part ‘A’ (50 Marks) for the Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions Based on Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 and Amendments to the Act from time to time; Part ‘B’ (15 Marks) – English; Part ‘C’ (15 Marks) – Arithmetic and Part ‘D’ (20 Marks) for the Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions based on General Knowledge Test Components.
Based on the Candidates’ Performance in the OMR Based Written Test, the Candidates shall be Shortlisted for the Skill Test / Driving Test, depending on the number of the Vacancies Notified, the Schedule and the Venue of which will be notified.
The Candidates, in order to be considered Eligible for Driving Skill Test (Skill Test / Driving Test), shall have to obtain the Minimum Qualifying Marks as mentioned in the Successive Line. Those, who secure Minimum 50% Marks in Part ‘A’ and Minimum 50% Marks amongst Part ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ Combined, will only be considered Eligible and ‘Shortlisted’ for ‘Skill Test (Driving Test)’. The Indian Space Research Organization Centralized Recruitment Board Declared Skill Test shall be purely Go-No-Go Basis and the Marks obtained in the Skill Test shall not be considered for Final Selection.
*The Skill Test / Driving Test shall be evaluated on a 100 Points Scale with Minimum 60% Marks for THE Qualification.
Final Selection carried out will be done amongst the Qualified Candidates, purely on the Scores obtained in the OMR Based Written Test.
From amongst the Candidates, who Qualify in the Skill Test / Driving Test with Minimum 60% Marks, Empanelment shall be done in the order of the Marks obtained in the Optical Markup Reader Based Written Test, subject to the number of the Vacancies notified.
In case Sufficient Number of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other Backward Classes / Persons with Disabilities / ESM Candidates are not available for filling up the Vacancies Reserved for these Categories, Relaxation will be extended to Candidates belonging to the Respective Category, to make good the shortfall.
