DIET GOA D.ED Admission 2020 Application Form | Prospectus | Display List | Fees:
The District Institute of Education & Training, Goa is all set to issue soon a Detailed Notification in regard to commencement of the Information Bulletin 2020-21 and Application Forms. The Candidates would have to submit the duly completed Application Forms accompanied by the attested Photostat of the Educational Certificates / Domicile Documents / Date of Birth Certification and Caste Testimonial among others. The department of DIET has started the online application submission form DED 2020 through the website of the official portal as stated hereunder.
DIET Goa D.ED Admissions 2020 Prospectus
The District Institute of Education & Training, Goa has broadcast the Online DED 2020 application form through the website of the official department. The students may apply for the online application submission form through the website. After scrutiny of the Applications received by this Institute the candidates found to be eligible shall be called for a Personal Interview. The List of the Selected Candidates would be displayed on the Notice Board in the First Week of June (Date shall be notified by the District Institute of Education & Training, Goa).
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate seeking admission into the Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) Course should
- be the resident of Goa State
- have passed 10 + 2 Pattern (Higher Secondary Certificate Examination) in a Single Attempt
- have passed 10 + 2 Pattern with Marathi Language in Standard XII to apply for Marathi Medium D. Ed. Course.
- have 50% Marks and above the Aggregate Percentage at Higher Secondary Level
and
He / She should have the following Elementary School based Subject(s) at Higher Secondary Level (HSL).
- English Language (Compulsory) with minimum 45% Marks in case of the Candidate belonging to General (Un-Reserved), Other Backward Classes (OBC) and 40% Marks for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
- Hindi / Marathi / Konkani / Sanskrit / Kannada /Urdu (Any One) Language.
- Mathematics / Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology) / Computer Science (Any One) Subject.
OR
- History / Geography / Political Science / Sociology / Psychology / Economics (Any One) Subject.
DIET Goa D.Ed Application Form 2020-21
The Candidates may seek admission for D.Ed. (English), D.Ed. (Marathi) through filling in the separate applications. However, the candidates will have to choose any one of the two by way of declaration in writing, if selected for both media.
The Oral Interviews shall be conducted as per the Schedule mentioned in the District Institute of Education & Training Admission Prospectus 2020-2021.
The District Institute of Education & Training shall shortlist the Candidates for Oral Interview / Personal Interview.
They shall be intimated in respect of confirmation of the Admission and Payment of Admission Fee. However, the candidates (not interested) shall be allowed to withdraw their respective admission.

The Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) Course
Objectives of the D.Ed. Course:
- To develop acquaintance with the Theories and Methodologies of Teaching the School Subjects from Standards I to VII
- To study the Subject Contents as per the curriculum of Elementary Education in the State.
- To practice different methods of teaching in actual Class-room situations.
- To enable to bring about Qualitative Change in the Elementary Education.

Diet Goa D.Ed Admission Process 2020
The admission of the students in D.Ed course 2020-21 session on the basis of merit list and counseling process.
The Original Certificates Need Not Be Attached To the Application Form
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Domicile / Residential Certificate of Minimum 15 Years
- School Leaving Certificate (SLC)
- Certificate of Passing Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) from a Board of Secondary Education recognized by the Central Government / State Government
- Statement of Marks of Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent.
- In case of a candidate belonging to Reserved Category, a Certificate issued by the Competent Authority and other authentic documents about his / her Caste.
- In case of candidates already in Service, an Experience Certificate (EC) as well as No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the authorizations of the Institute where serving.
- Any other relevant Documents / Certificates / Testimonials, the candidate feels necessary to furnish.
The Candidates shall be required to produce the Original Documents and Certificates at the time of Oral Interview for verification of the prescribed attached documents.

Rules for Admission:
- Every Year admission for D.Ed. (I) Course only will be open.
- The Candidates admitted into the D.Ed. Course shall not attend any other Full / Part Time Course.
- Reservation of the Seats for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Physically Handicapped (PH), Children of the Freedom Fighters (CFFs), Ex Service Men (ESM), CSP and the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) will be as per the norms laid down by the Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW), Government of Goa.
- The admission will be confirmed only after the approval of the Government.
Admission shall be finalized taking into consideration:
- Percentage of the Marks secured in the Subjects in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSCE).
- Proficiency of the Candidates in various Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs), such as, Drawing, Music, Singing, Games / Sports, etc.
- Proficiency in Computer Education (PCE).
- The Candidate’s participation in the above activities as well as the activities like Speech-Writing, Cultural Programs, National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS), etc.
- Teaching Experience
- Performance in Oral Interview.
