The department of Central Institute of Education (CIE), University of Delhi (DU) shall reveal the announcement of DU BED 2018 Entrance Test Admit card at the official website very shortly. We are requested to all the students don’t waste your precious time at anywhere. University of Delhi shall issue the Admission ticket to those students who will apply for the B.Ed 2018-2020 session.

Entrance Test 2018 BED syllabus
The students can get the entrance test syllabus of BED program through the official website of the university before starting hard preparation of the examination.
Procedure for Selection:
The Faculty of Education, Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi (FoE, CIE, UD) shall draw up the Merit Lists based on the Bachelor of Education Entrance Test (BEET) 2018. The Department of Faculty would select the candidates on the basis of their performance in the Bachelor of Education Admission Test 2018, depending on their Rank in the Merit List of their respective Category and Subject Category. The Department of Education, Central Institute of Education shall prepare a List of the Candidates strictly in order of merit, based on their performance in the Entrance Test and their preference of institutions during Counseling.
In case of any tie, the candidate older in age shall rank higher.
Allotment of Candidates to different Institutions:
The Faculty of Education Counseling Committee will conduct the Counseling on the stipulated dates of the Admission Cycle.
The Counseling will be held in the Department of Education based on the Merit Lists prepared separately for each Subject Category and Reserved Category. The Department of Education shall call the candidates strictly in order of the Merit / Merit wise to make choice of Institution as per the availability of the vacancies.
The Male candidates will have only two institutions as Choice of Institution (CIE & MVCE), whereas the Female candidate can choose any institution, depending on availability of vacancies.
Admission Formalities: The selected candidates shall have to complete the admission related formalities within the stipulated period of time. Failing compliance, the Department of Education shall withdraw the offer to the unsuccessful candidate and the seats shall be allotted to candidates next in the Merit List during Counseling, leading to cancellation of their selection without any further notice. Once allocated, and the Central Institute of Education shall not entertain the request of the selected candidates for change of Institution.
Candidates must carry all relevant documents with them as specified on the admissions portal.
These include the following documents in original with two sets of self-attested photocopies:-
- Class X Board Examination Certificate
- Class X Marks-Sheet
- Class XII Marks-Sheet
- Class XII Original Certificate
- Provisional Certificate and Marks-Sheet of the Qualifying Examination
- Character Certificate (recent, six months)
- SC/ST/PwD/CW Certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by the competent authority
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate (in the name of the Candidate) issued by competent authority
- In case the OBC Certificate is older than 1st April 2015, then a proof for the Non Creamy Layer Status.
- Migration Certificate: Required for those students who have passed qualifying examination from outside Delhi University
- At least two passport size self-attested photographs
