CEED 2018 Score Card

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Post-Announcement of the Result for the Common Entrance Examination For (Admission into) Design will Upload both Result and the Marks Statement / Score Cards.

Objective of the Common Entrance Examination For (Admission into) Design (CEED):

Sheer Objective of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Conducted Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is aimed at Assessment of the Candidate’s Aptitude for Design involving Visual Perception Ability, Drawing Skills, Logical Reasoning, Creativity, Communication, and Problem-Solving Skills for Admission into Master of Design and Philosophiae Doctor Courses.

CEED 2018 Interview ~ News

Qualifying in the CEED alone does not Guarantee Admission into any of these Programs. Admitting institutes may conduct further Tests and / or Interviews for the Final Selection / Admission into the Course.

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay Conducted Common Entrance Examination For (Admission into) Design held on the 20.01.2018 consisted of Part A & Part B.

The Marks obtained in Part A will be used for Shortlisting the Candidates. The Cut-off for Part A Marks for Shortlisting the Candidates in the Open Category will be X+ ½ Σ, where X is the Average Marks obtained by all Candidates in Part A, and Σ is the Standard Deviation (SD).

The Cut-offs for Shortlisting the Candidates of Other Backward Classes – (NCL) Category Candidates will be 90% of the Open Category. The Cut-offs for Shortlisting the Candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disabilities Categories will be 50% of the Open Category. However, this is subject to the condition that the Candidate must score the Minimum Prescribed Marks (as listed below) or Higher in Part A to be Shortlisted.

Part B Test Question Paper Booklet / Answer Books will be Evaluated Manually for the Candidates, who are Shortlisted from Part A. In Part B, there will be 8 Questions. Of these, Questions 1 – 5 will have 50 Marks each. After Manual Evaluation of these Questions, a Normalized Score ‘S’ will be Calculated for each Candidate by using the following Prescribed in the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay Common Entrance Examination For (Admission into) Design 2018 Brochure.
