General Officer MMGS II & III – 23 to 32 Years
Security Officer MMGS II – 28 to 45 Years
Clerks: 18 – 28 Years
General Officers: Graduation in any Discipline and Post Graduate in Master in Business Administration / Chartered Accountants / Chartered Financial Analysts from any the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
Security Officers: Graduation in any Discipline and Post Graduate with Minimum 10 Years’ Experience in Navy / Army.
Clerk (Law): Graduation in Law from a University recognized by the Central Government / State Government.
Clerk (Agriculture): Graduation in Agriculture from a University recognized by the Central Government / State Government.
Clerk (Non-Conventional): Graduation in from a University recognized by the Central Government / State Government.

The selection of the Candidates shall be on the basis of the Merit List drawn up by the State Bank of India based on the performance and Marks of the candidates secured in the Online Written Test and Personal interview.
Personal Interview: Adequate number of the candidates as decided by the State Bank of India shall be called for Personal Interview.
The Qualifying Marks in Personal Interview would be as decided by the State Bank of India.
Merit List: For selection shall be prepared in descending order on the basis of the Scores obtained in the Professional Knowledge Test and Personal Interview.
Except Professional Knowledge (PK) Paper, other papers would be of Qualifying in nature. The Candidates have to score Minimum Qualifying Marks in these papers. The Minimum Qualifying Marks shall be decided by the Bank of Maharashtra (BoM). The Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions would be bilingual, i.e., in Hindi & English. The candidates will have the option to answer the Multiple Choice Questions in Hindi or English (except for the Test of English Language).
The Bank of Maharashtra is likely to notify the Selection Criteria for Shortlisting and Merit listing the candidates as explained subsequently.
To be considered eligible for being short-listed for Personal interview, the candidates shall have to score equal to or above the Expected Minimum Cut-off Marks to be decided by the Bank for the Professional Knowledge Test, besides obtaining equal to or above the Minimum Qualifying Marks in other Tests.
The Candidates must secure equal to or more than the Minimum Qualifying Marks (to be decided by the Bank) in the Personal interview to be considered for Selection. In the interview, the Candidate might opt for Hindi also.
In case more than one candidate score the Cut-off Marks (Common Marks at Cut-off Point), such candidates would be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the Select List as well as in the Wait List.
