The Office of the Additional Director General of Police (T&AP)-Cum-Chairman, SLPRB upon receipt of the Online Application Forms for Unarmed Branch and Armed Branch. The Candidates shall shortlist the Candidates for various stages of Recruitment of Police Constables (Un-Armed Branch) in Assam Police. The online registration process will be commence already.
**There is no Application / Examination Fee in respect of the Advertisement.

Selection Procedure:
The Candidates whose Online Applications are found correct in all respects will have to undergo the Physical Standards Tests (PSTs) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PETs). If any candidate was found to have any physical deformity as may be detected by the Medical Officer (MO) present in the Selection Board, he/ she will be debarred from participating in the other Tests.
The Candidates shall be intimated in respect of the Date and Venue of Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Test (OMRWT) in due course of time by the Candidates’ Registered Email, SMS and various other means and through the Assam Police Website.
The Optical Mark Recognition Based Written Examination shall carry 50 Marks.
The Final Merit List will be prepared with the following Criteria:
