The Department of School Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh will soon publish the notification for inviting applications for APTET Test 2018. APTET exam is been conducted by Arunachal Pradesh department of Education every year and this year too, the concerned body is all set to impart information regarding the Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018.

Candidates seeking to become a teacher of either Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) or Upper Primary Level (class 6 to 8) in the schools affiliated by Arunachal Pradesh can fill the online application form of APTET after its release. The candidates can fill the desired category of teacher for which he/she wish to apply, i.e. for category of class I to V or class VI to VIII. However, candidate can also appear for both the examinations. The aspiring candidates after satisfying the eligibility criteria defined by AP can fill the application form and can appear for the examinations. The required eligibility criteria that a candidate must possess are given below:

APTET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  1. For Teacher category of class I to V, a candidate must have done Intermediate/Senior secondary scoring at least 50% marks AND 2 year diploma in Elementary Education/ 4 year B.El.Ed.
  2. For Teacher category of class VI to VIII, a candidate must have done B.Com. /B.A. /B.Sc. scoring at least 50% marks AND B.Ed. Course from a recognized University.

All the candidates who consider themselves eligible enough to fulfill the required educational qualifications can apply for the APTET Test from 17th January 2018 to 27th January 2018. Detailed information about the applications process, hall ticket, application fee etc is described below:

 How to apply for Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018?

The Candidates can fill the APTET Application form by visiting the official website of AP Government. The candidates would need to fill all the required information marked by ‘*’ while filling the application forms.

Alternatively, candidates can download the Information Bulletin for step by step application procedure ,which will be available at the official website of AP Government and can be downloaded free of cost

APTET 2018 Application Fee

The application fees will be updated as per the latest notification provided by Department of School Education, Arunachal Pradesh.

APTET 2018 Exam Scheme

The exam scheme for the Arunachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test has been divided in 2 Papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted for the candidates aiming for Teacher of Class I to V. On the other hand Paper 2 will be conducted for the candidates aiming for Teacher of Class VI to VIII. Both the papers will be conducted on the same day but at different timings. More information regarding both papers is given below:

APTET Entrance Test Hall Ticket 2018

The eligible candidates will be issued the hall tickets. After the release, Candidates will be able to download their respective hall ticket from the official website of AP Government.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks scored in AP Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2018. Weightage of 20% of TET scores shall be provided in the Teacher Recruitment of the State Government, while 80% weightage will be given for Written Test in TRT based on which selection list/merit list will be prepared and selection will be done.
