APSET Application Form 2018 Notification ~ Admit Card Syllabus Question Papers:

This is to notify that the Andhra University (Visakhapatnam) has published the official notification regarding APSET (Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test) 2018. As per the official notification, the University is going to conduct the State Eligibility Test (APSET) for recruitment of Asstt. Professors & Lecturers in various colleges. The candidates interested for the post of Assistant Professor/Lecturer can fill the APSET online application forms from 26th March 2018.

AP State Eligibility Test (APSET) Notification 2018APSET 2018 Application Forms:  As per the official notification, the Andhra University has invited online applications for AP State Eligibility Test from the eligible candidates from 26.03.18 onwards. There will be a written examination conducted by Andhra University (Visakhapatnam) which will be held on 1st July 2018. All the candidates interested for the post of Lecturers & Assistant Professors, can fill the APSET 2018 application forms. However, before filling up the forms, the candidates are hereby advised to check the eligibility conditions before filling up the application forms,

AP State Eligibility Test Eligibility Conditions

  • The candidates must have completed Master’s Degree by securing at least 55% marks (General Category) from a recognized University.
  • However, in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates the candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in their Master’s Degree.
  • There is no upper age limit set for the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2018.

If the candidate satisfies all the given eligibility conditions, then he/she can apply for the AP State Eligibility Test by filling the online application forms. All the important dates, online application procedure and the online application fee are being given in the following points.

  • The candidates can fill the APSET Online Application forms by visiting the official website of apset.net.in.
  • On the homepage, there will be an active link for AP State Eligibility Test 2018 Application forms.
  • Click on the link and fill all the information as required in the application form.
  • Finally, with the payment of online application fee, the candidate’s application form for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test 2018 will be successfully filled & submitted.

The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) will include 2 papers namely: Paper-I & Paper-II. Paper-I will be common for all while Paper-II will be subject specific. Both the papers will include Objective Type questions. Paper-I will test the General Knowledge, Reasoning & Comprehension of the candidates while Paper-II will be subject specific. For every correct answer 2 marks will be awarded and there is no negative marking in the examination.

Selection Procedure/Merit list

The APSET written test will be conducted on 1st July 2018. On the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination (300 marks Paper), merit list will be formed by Andhra University & the candidates will be shortlisted. The candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit list will be eligible for the posts of Assistant Professors & Lecturers in the colleges/Universities of Andhra Pradesh (AP).
