APPSC ASO Main Examination Result 2017: Taking cognizance of Public Service Commission, Andhra Pradesh notified Computer Based Online Test Main Examination for Assistant Statistical Officer in A.P. Economic And Statistical Subordinate Service (General Recruitment) Examination 2017 held on the 13th of October 2017 in the Computer Based Online Test for Recruitment to the Posts of Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) against 95 Vacancies, we look forward to AP Public Service Commission to declare in November / December 2017 the Result for the Computer Based Online Test Main Examination of the aforestated Assistant Statistical Officer in A.P. Economic And Statistical Subordinate Service (General Recruitment) Examination 2017 for 300 Marks.

Public Service Commission, Andhra Pradesh shall announce the Result, post-release of the Final Answers Key for the Test Question Paper Booklet Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D in Portable Document Format File.
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission shall announce the Result for Assistant Statistical Officer in Andhra Pradesh Economic & Statistical Subordinate Service (General Recruitment) 2017 consisting of Two Papers each carrying 150 Marks totaling 300 Marks.
APPSC ASO Mains Expected Cut Off 2017
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission declared Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks for the Candidates are Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Final Written Examination in the Paper are Open Category 40%; Backward Classes 35%; SCs/STs/Ex-Service Men 30% Marks.
Procedure for Selection:
Optical Markup Reader Based Screening Test for 150 Marks
Computer Based Online Test Main Objective Type Written Examination for 300 Marks
Final Select List drawn up based on Merit taking into the General / Un-Reserved Candidates’ Maximum Marks unalike Reserved Category Candidates to be granted Relaxation in the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained by them for preparation of the Final Merit List.
Viva-voce for Verification of the Documents
Final Merit List of the Candidates shall be drawn up based on their respective Performance and Marks secured in AGGREGATE both in Computer Based Online Test (450 Marks) and Personal Interview (50 Marks).
Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Final Written Examination in the Paper are Open Category 40%; Backward Classes 35%; SCs/STs/Ex-Service Men 30% Marks.
Final Selection of the Candidates (Men & Women) will be made strictly on Merit.
FINAL SELECTION OF CANDIDATES FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE POSTS SHALL BE BASED ON THE MERIT IN THE COMPUTER BASED MAIN EXAMINATION, TO BE HELD AS PER THE SCHEME OF EXAMINATION ENUNCIATED Indian Navy THE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POSTS OF STATISTICAL OFFICER IN ANDHRA PRADESH ECONOMIC & STATISTICAL SUBORDINATE SERVICE (95 VACANCIES).
The Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Computer Based Main Examination for consideration of a Candidate to the Selection Process in case of Open Category Candidates are 40%, Backward Category Candidates are 35% and for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Handicapped Category Candidates are 30% or as per the relevant Rules. The Minimum Qualifying Marks is relaxable in the case of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Backward Class / Physically Handicapped at the discretion of the Commission.
The Candidates would be selected and allotted to the Service / Department as per their Rank in the Merit List and as per the Zonal Preference opted by the Applicant at the time of making Application to the Post Online.
Appearance in all the Papers is compulsory. Absence in any of the Papers will automatically render the disqualification of the Candidature of the Applicants.
Any Candidate declared Merit Listed in the Main Examination shall have to furnish produce Original Documents, as and when called for by the Commission for Verification of the Certificate.
In case of failure of any Candidate in producing the Certificates and / or the Particulars furnished in the Application do not tally with the Original Documents produced by the Candidate, then his / her Candidature will be rejected and he / she would be disqualified without any further correspondence.
As the Candidature for the Recruitment is processed through Computer / Electronic Devices based on the Particulars furnished in the Application Form, the Candidate is advised to carefully fill in all the relevant particulars.
While the Commission calls for preference of Candidates in respect of the Post, Zones, etc., in the Application Form, it is hereby clarified that the said Preferences are only Indicative for being considered to the extent possible but not binding or limiting the Commission’s Powers under Articles 315 and 320 of the Constitution of India. Therefore, the Commission has the power to assign a Candidate to any of the notified Posts for which he / she is considered to be Qualified and Eligible, subject to fulfilling the Selection Criterion / Criteria. Mere Claim of the Preference for any Zone for Allotment against the Vacancy does not confer a right to Selection for that Zone in particular or any Zone in General.
The Appointment of the Selected Candidates will be subject to their being found Medically Fit in the appropriate Medical Classification, and if he / she is in sound Health, active Habits free from any Bodily Defect or Infirmity.
