Online Registration in response to the Notification released by the Office of the Directorate General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, and Police Head Quarter is in progress with the Deadline for Online Application Forms closing on the 2019 (At 1700 Hours), hence, the Online Application received after would not be acknowledged.

The Directorate General of Police, AP Police shall release the e-Admission Cards / Hall Examination Tickets 10 (Ten) days before the Preliminary Test.
Andhra Pradesh Police Head Quarter shall conduct soon Andhra Pradesh Police Constables / Warder (Preliminary) Examination 2019 comprising Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions carrying 200 Marks. The Preliminary Written Examination (PWE) shall be of 03 Hours’ duration (1000 Hours – 1300 Hours).

The Candidates Shortlisted in the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) shall be summoned for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) / Physical Endurance Test (PET). Call Letters mentioning the details regarding Venue, Date and Time shall be published on the Summon Letters for the ready reference of the Candidates.
The Candidates Shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination and declared Qualified in the PMT / PET shall be summoned to appear Final Written Examination leading to preparation of the Final Merit List to be declared in concurrence with the announcement of Final Results based on the Final Merit List.
Even as Final Selection to the Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables in the Police Department & Warders (Female) in Prisons and Correctional Services Department shall be strictly in order of Final Merit List and Final Select List concurring with Final Result Announcement District wise. However, it is mandatory for the Candidates to secure Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks (Open Category (OC) 40%; Backward Classes (BCs) 35%; Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes /Ex-Service Men (30%) to be considered for Selection to Posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) (Men & Women) and Warders (Male in Female) all 18 Districts, viz., Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam City, Visakhapatnam Rural, East Godavari, Rajahmundry Urban, West Godavari, Vijayawada City, Krishna, Guntur Rural, Guntur Urban, Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupati Urban, Anantapur, Kurnool and Kadapa.

Objective Written Test (200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions)

- History of India, Indian Culture, Indian National Movement.
- Indian Geography, Polity and Economy
- Current Events of National and International importance
- Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability
Awarding of Marks: For each Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions, the Candidate will be awarded full Marks, if He / She darkened only one Bubble corresponds to the Correct Answer. In case the Candidate has not darkened any Bubble, then he / she would be awarded Zero Mark for that Multiple Choice Questions.

Andhra Pradesh Police Head Quarter has explained the following Detailed Instructions / Guidelines in regard to the Final Recruitment of the Candidates:
Preliminary Written Test:
The Candidates shall be required to appear in the Preliminary Written Test in One Paper (Three Hours’ Duration) for 200 Marks (200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions). The Syllabus for Preliminary Written Test (PWT) is given in Annexure-II of the Advertisement.
(i) Final Written Examination for Post Codes 21, 53 & 54:
The Candidates who qualify in the above stated Preliminary Written Examination shall be required to appear in the Final Written Examination in One Paper of Three Hours’ Duration for 200 Marks. The Syllabus is given in Annexure- II.
(ii) Final Written Examination for Post Code 22:
The Candidates who qualify in the above stated Preliminary Written Examination would be required to appear in the Final Written Examination in One Paper (Three Hours’ Duration) for 100 Marks (200 MCQs). The Syllabus is given in Annexure II of the Advertisement.
